NXT RECORDS is a record label for electronic music, which is mainly specialized in the house genre (classical house, as well as other sub-genres).

The most important goals and definitions of the label:

• Find, support and promote talented artists

• Offer artists the widest possible range of opportunities and services available, and thus to enable entire careers and works resulting from them to come from a single source without binding to it

• Create more exchange, cooperation and collegiality among the artists and, with the success of the project, to strengthen trust in the industry and thus to reduce hostility and short-sighted strong competitive thinking.

PAST

NXT RECORDS was founded in 2016 by the House, Tech House & Techno producer Ivan Tanic (Artist name "Tanich"). The name is based on his DJ stage name "NXT PROJECT" which was inspired by a DJ colleague. Tanic called it "Project" because already at that time he looks into the future and wanted to achieve more than just being a solo artist. He was excited to help others more than just to secure his progress. During a longer period of work with another artist, he set himself the goal to become more independent because of differences of opinion about how and with what means projects should be created and the relation to other artists. It took him a long time and required patience as well as a lot of effort and diplomacy to create the label after almost 2 years. The differences of opinion between the two artists became too big with time and so the two working partners separated.
